I was so optimistic earlier in the year that we had COVID behind us, but the Maryland community level of transmission remains “high” as I write this. I’m optimistic that the curve is improving, but with the Delta surge uncertainty I don’t see how I can responsibly put a large group of people in a room for a whole day together.
I do hope I’m being overly cautious by cancelling the event this year. By November the number might be much better. But with less than two months left, this is the time I would need to commit to a venue and to our professional trainer.
